Margaret Mingura lost her battle with Covid on 22 August 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Her son Joe Mingura, daughter-in-law Tara, granddaughters Rose and Tess, good friends Dave & Mary Sheehan, brother Adrian Luna and sister-in-law Fran are devastated at her sudden and unexpected passing.
Margaret had always been so full of life, laughter and crazy antics she made everyone believe there would never be a world without her. She could be incredibly silly and vivacious, getting tipsy and prancing embarrassingly through the city with her friend Mary Sheehan arm in arm while singing "We are Family" loudly for all to hear. She could also be quiet and kind, bringing these god-awful home baked goods to her kids when they were sick or needed cheering up. She really tried her best in the kitchen and no one had the heart to tell her not even God could eat her cookies because the most important ingredient was love - and who wouldn't want that?
She absolutely adored being a grandmother, teaching them Spanish, encouraging them in all they wanted to do and bragging about them non-stop as if they were the only grandkids on the planet.
She was very proud of her daughter-in-law for getting a degree in Psychology just like her and following in her footsteps by also going into education to carry on the family tradition.
Her son was the true pride and joy of her life. She reveled in his accomplishments, never stopped being his biggest champion or making sure he knew he was so greatly loved and wanted.
Her last words were "La familia es todo" which was the theme of her life.
