KENNEDALE -- Marion Jeanette Kasas Geary born May 17, 1949, was called home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2012.
Funeral: 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel, 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale. Burial: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
Marion was born in Somerville, NJ. to Michael and Leona Kasas and grew up in South Bound Brook, NJ. She was voted most athletic in her senior year at South Bound Brook High School and was a competitive athlete in volleyball, basketball and track. After marrying, she moved with her family to Plano, Tx. in 1978 and worked in the grocery business most recently at Central Market. She loved cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Wendy Moran; son, Jason Geary; mother, Leona Kasas and siblings, Ada Marie Stecher, Carolyn Gipson and Michael Kasas Jr.; granddaughter Rachel Moran.
