GRANBURY -- Marjorie Bates, 85, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010, after a 45-year battle with multiple sclerosis.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Please send contributions to the MS Society.
Marjorie enjoyed her books, her crossword puzzles and talking to people. She loved the Lord, her family and the USA, and reading the Star-Telegram daily kept her current on world events.
Survivors: Sister, Eileen Smith; daughters, Paulette Mauer and Connie McCoy; and four grandchildren.
