Mrs. Marjorie Hickman

Marjorie L. Swails Cassity Hickman, born in July 1945 to Donald and Marguerite Swails in St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on November 11, 2013 in Mansfield, Texas. Marjorie graduated from Lafayette High School with the class of 1963. Throughout her life her mother lovingly referred to her as "Petey Pom Pom". She was a devoted wife, and loving mother and doting grandmother. Marjorie was a member of the United Methodist Church. She worked for Colortile for many years before retiring. Marjorie enjoyed watching sports, in particular the Steelers, Texas Rangers and the Aggies play. She and her husband spent some of their summers in Breckenridge, Colorado where they were happy to get away and relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.
She will join her parents in heaven.
Those left to remember her include: loving husband of 16 years, Rick Hickman; son, Steve Cassity and wife Yoli; daughter, Cara Peterson and husband Leif; grandchildren, Erica Peterson and Zoe Peterson; sister, Jean DeMint; niece, Amy DeMint Tyrrell; nephews Don DeMint and Mike DeMint; many more extended family members and dear friends.
