Mary Allen

Mary Elizabeth Allen (Mernie to her family) born March 29 1931 in Cleburne Texas; went home with her Lord on Wednesday November 25th. Mary graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and devoted her life serving the Lord. She moved to West Monroe Louisiana, eventually relocating to Nashville Tennessee where she spent the majority of her life. She served with the Tennessee Baptist Convention for over 35 years; working with youth groups, church camps and actively involved in the choir and was a long standing member of the First Baptist Church of Nashville Tennessee.  After her retirement from the Baptist Convention, she continued serving in her church and with the senior citizens for many years. She will be laid to rest at Emerald Hills Cemetery in Kennedale Texas on Monday, November 30th at 11:00 am. There will be a casual grave side service held at that time. Our Mernie will be deeply missed by her Family.
