Mary Loney Malveau married her late husband Rev. Sidney Fontenot on June 18, 1949. They remained married for 58 years until his passing. She devotedly served God, her husband, children, and church family at Mount Olive Baptist Church for more than 27 years. She was a part of the Mission Department, Mass Choir, and Deaconess Board. Mary Loney Fontenot later joined Messiah Baptist Church until she took ill and relocated to Texas.
