Mary Jean Freeman, 85, passed away on September 25, 2014.
Graveside Services will be held at Emerald Hills Memorial park in Kennedale, TX on November 28, 2014 at 3 p.m. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Mellow Mushroom Pizza in Mansfield at 4 p.m.
Jean and her twin brother Jack were born at home in Titus County, TX to Virgil and Juanita (Ward) Wilson on April 4, 1929. After graduation from Mt. Pleasant High School, she moved to Fort Worth where she met and married her first husband, the late L. Murray Jones. From this union, she had four children.
During the last 10 years of her life, she spent most days with her friend George Reulbach and her beloved puggle, Baby.
Jean is survived by one son, David M. Jones; daughters, Phyllis Jones Choate and husband Dale and Rosemary Jones McKee and husband Billy; brother, Eugene Wilson and wife Helga; sister, Frances Wilson Nicholson; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne C. Freeman; parents, Virgil and Juanita (Ward) Wilson; son, Phillip M. Jones; grandson, Dusty Choate; brothers, Johnny, Carl, Phil and Jack Wilson; sisters, Nellie Wilson Bragg and Wilma Wilson Rady.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church or charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caregivers at North Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation for their loving kindness to our mother.
