Mary Elise Gill Cash, 79, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2010.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church, 5011 W. Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington. Interment: 1 p.m. Saturday in Friendship Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, 71603, 18 miles south of Pine Bluff on U.S. 63 and 1.5 miles east on Friendship Cemetery Road. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Memorials: St. Barnabas' Building Fund or a charity of choice, in lieu of flowers.
Mary was a treasured and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her grandsons so much, teaching and nurturing every step they took. She loved seeing new life through their eyes. She took great pride in being a Christian. Volunteering at the church, she taught Sunday school, VBS and worked with young people through the mentoring program. She assisted her family in their business working as needed in all aspects.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jake A. Cash Jr.
Survivors: Her loving husband of 54 years, Jake A. Cash Sr.; daughter, Cindy and Jason Bradley; grandchildren, Curran, Adam and Zac Bradley; sister, Flora Lee Hooten; and a host of other family and friends.
