Mrs. Mary Holden Boynton

KENNEDALE -- Mary Estelle Boynton was called to her heavenly home Tuesday, April 17, 2007, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mary was born Nov. 27, 1921, in Gatesville and grew up in Jonesboro. She married John Lewis Boynton on Nov. 17, 1941. Her husband preceded her in death in 1970. Mary worked as a hairdresser for 32 years in Fort Worth until she retired at the age of 70.
Survivors: Daughters, Sylvia McDowell and Pamela Boynton; two granddaughters; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; one sister; two brothers; and many other relatives and friends.
