Mary Rose Lindsey Ott, 85, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 25, 2010, with her husband, Jim, by her side.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 1659 Sandy Lane, Fort Worth, with Pastor Kathleen Ott officiating. Interment: 10 a.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Mary was a real people person who never met a stranger; her home and heart were always open. She loved to do anything Jim did -- fish, travel, go on cruise ships and sail away to ports unknown. She was a loving mother, devoted wife and caring friend. She radiated elegance; her true wealth was in her generous heart. And what endless wealth she did have.
Survivors: Her husband of 20 years, Jim Ott; children, Judy Rogers, Rex "Rusty" and Donna Lindsey, George "Butch" and Polly Lindsey; stepchildren, Larry Ott, Marilyn Fackler, the Rev. Kathleen Ott and Sue Ott; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
