Mary Willis

Mary Ellen Willis was born September 25, 1945 in Corpus Christi, TX to John Clint Abbott and Emily Jewel (Richardson) Abbott. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 12, 2018.  Mary was the strong centerpiece to her family.  She loved NASCAR especially Kyle Busch, the Dallas Cowboys, and especially her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Willis; parents, John Clint Abbott and Emily Jewel Miles Abbott; brother, Cecil Abbott and sister, Dorothy House.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deanna and husband Dave Wells and Kelly DePriest and husband Wade; son, Larry Sneed and wife Nita; grandchildren, Cecil, Justin, Aaron, Meagan, Cheyenne, Kara, Kristin, and Karlie; brothers Norman Abbott and wife Elaine and Robert Abbott and wife Glenda; many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Ms. Willis will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00A.M. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale with Pastor Jeff Hensley officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
