Melinda Lee Bosworth, 49, of Irving was called home on May 22, 2016.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Melinda was born in Key West on December 28, 1966, to her parents Lequeta Lincoln and the late Thomas Lincoln. She grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She worked for AT&T for 19 years during which time she moved to Texas and united in marriage with Matthew Bosworth. Melinda was a loving wife, mother, and daughter. She shared her heart with everyone she knew. She was a shining light to all those who had a chance to be in her presence. There are not enough words to describe who Melinda was. She was honest, loving, caring, tough, intelligent, quick witted, and so much more. Her love was the kind so many ached for and she tried to give it to everyone. She will be truly missed.
Melinda is preceded in death by her father Thomas Lincoln, and both grandparents Applegate and Collins.
Melinda is survived by her husband, Matthew Bosworth, of Irving; daughters, Lauren and her husband, Jason Castle, of Forest Hill, Candi Dobbs, of Arkansas, Gina, of Texas; sons, Shane Nichols and wife, Alysha, of Kansas, Nicholas Briney, of Virginia, Brian Nichols, of Utah; mother, Lequeta Lincoln; brother, Rick White, both of Arkansas; grandchildren, Roy and Anna Castle, James (Bubbie) and Russell Dobbs, Sophia Nichols, Ashton and Tannis Briney, Bailey Briney, Mikaiah Nichols, Dustin House, and Sean and Elizabeth Briney.
