FORT WORTH -- Mercedes Joan Nikovich fondly known as "Dee", 82, of Fort Worth passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Monday in Emerald Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
Dee was born in Kansas City, MO and raised by loving adoptive parents Essel and Audrey Smith. In 1954, she relocated to Decatur, IL to attend Nursing School and met the love of her life, Mike. In 1978 she moved to Texas and became one of the areas top selling realtors. She was a passionate Equestrian, mom and wife to her precious husband Mike for 62 years.
Survivors: husband, Michael Nikovich; daughters, Kris Nickovich and husband, Doug Moeller, Mari Finley and husband, Gary, Gayle Karanges; grandchildren, Michael Mills and wife, Susan, Jonathan Moeller, Cynthia Moeller, Audrey Finley, Crystal Finley, Kelsey Karanges, Anthony Moeller, Karli Karanges; great-grandchildren, Catey Mills and Troy Mills.
She leaves behind a legacy of love to her family and special friends including all her four-legged equine friends.
