Mildred Williams

Mildred (Maxine) Williams, 83, went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2021. She was born on November 23, 1937 in Denton, Texas to RV and Emmalene Zackery.

Maxine was a wonderful homemaker and an excellent seamstress, and she used her talents and creative abilities to provide a comfortable and loving home for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and taking weekend trips with her sisters. The family will always remember the joy of her smile and the delight in her laughter. She was a woman of amazing strength and character. Her legacy of faith lives on in her family.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Harroll Williams and her parents RV and Emmalene Zackery.

She is survived by her four daughters Cynthia Stricklan of Poolville, Laurie and husband Robert Montgomery of Burleson, Melissa and husband Ralph Andrade of Burleson, Sheila and husband Jeff Smith of Burleson, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, sisters, Joan Pope, Norma Griffith, Cheryl Wood, Christa Curry and brother, Jimmy Zackery, as well as a great number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale, Texas. Funeral will be Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home at 500 Kennedale Sublette Road, Kennedale, TX 76060.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital Dallas in gratitude for being instrumental in saving her life. https://scottishriteforchildren.org/
