Opal M. Scroggins, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday Dec. 25, 2013 at the age of 86.
Mrs Scroggins was born in February 1927, to Dewy and Annie Scroggins in Quannah, Texas, She spent her 40 year career as a nurse in Arlington and Grand Prairie.
Survivors: Those left to remember her include: children,Susan Lane-Raines of San Diego, Beverly K. Harris & Ronald J. Smith of Arlington, and Theresa J. Mate of Fort Worth; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; sister, Rose Dawson; brothers, Joe Scroggins, Norman Scroggins and James Scroggins all of Texas.
