CROWLEY -- Opal Pauline Myatt, 91, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Opal was a very loving wife and mother. She was very passionate about volunteering her time. Over the years she volunteered at the VA Hospital, Hospice gift shop, and the House of Hope in Crowley. She was a member of First Baptist of Burleson for 20 years. Opal enjoyed sewing, and she often sold her artwork in addition to doing alterations as an entrepreneur.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D.H. Myatt; mother, Lilly Odessa Burk; father, Charlie Hill; grandchildren; Tiffany Ann Vesper, Karla Jo Vesper and Jason Samuel Fulmer.
Survivors: Daughters; Beverly Ann Fulmer, and husband, Jimmie, and Kristy Vesper and husband, Jerry; sister, Jesse Lee Purdy; grandchildren; Jeremy Vesper, Daniel Vesper, Leonard Fulmer and Damon Fulmer; and eight great-grandchildren and their families.
