Othell Ernest Hamilton

Othell Ernest Hamilton passed away on January 8,2025 at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth after a long illness. He was born on July 25,1941to Walton and Hazel Sims Hamilton.

He was in the Army for 2 years where he served with CBT Engineersbe in Korea. He was a sharpshooter and was an E-4 upon discharge.

Ernest married Edna in 1982 in Fort Worth, TX. They were happily married for 42 years, 2 months and 10 days.

He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He earned his living as a commercial plumber.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walton and Hazel, his son Walton II.

He is survived by his wife Edna of Forest Hill, TX and his children and stepchildren. Aloma (Kenneth) Guilliams of LaGrange, NC, Othell II (Tricia) Hamilton of Krum, TX, William Connors of Fort Worth, TX, Melisa Wilson of Fairfax, OK and Dana Wilson of Marietta, OK. His brother Farrell Dean (Lena) Hamilton of Georgetown, TX.

13 grandchildren Alex, Andrea, Brianna, Christopher, Cole, Curtis, Hayden, Jesse, Madelynne, Megan, Melody, Skyanne and Tanner.

18 Great grandchildren Aeris, Alexandria. Ashton, Cadence, Dublin, Eli, Estella, Hope, Jacquelynne, Jayden, Jaxtyn, Kobie, Logan, Mason, Ophelia, Scarlett, and Wyatt.

3 nephews Daniel, David and Michael. 6 great nieces and nephews Bethany, Brooke, Hannah, Jacob, Justin, and Samuel.

Upon his cremation he will be interred at Holders Cemetery in Cool, TX. Date of the interment has yet to be decided.
