Pamela Ann Long, of Bedford TX passed away Friday October 5, 2012 at the age of 56. She was born September 12, 1956 to Jack F. Burton and Wanda Johnson Burson in Dallas, TX. Pamela graduated from Grand Prairie High School and later married Melvin Long. They shared 30 years and two sons. Throughout her life Pamela was very close to her brother and together the two of them shared laughter and a close sibling relationship. Pamela was fond of Mexican food and was very much family oriented. She loved her children and was overjoyed by the blessings of grandchildren. Pamela was a member of North West Baptist Church and a member of the prayer group there. She worked most recently for DFW Transport as a casino bus driver, meeting many people from all walks of life, where her often outspoken nature could lead to laughs for everyone around her. Pamela will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Wanda Burson; brother, Ricky Burson; sons Clint Long and wife Brittany, Robert Long and wife Christi; granddaughters, Alina Long, Courtney Long, Jordan Long, and Alyssa Dickson; grandson, Howie Long; nephews, Alvin Jr. Long and Michael Long; nieces, Brittany Burson, Kristen Emerine and Tiffany Conrad; numerous extended family and many friends.
