Pat "Gram" Tahmahkera was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011. She was 77 years young. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a dear friend to many.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday, January 21st in Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale.
She was born to Dillard and Mae Potts in Wilson, Okla. She graduated from Walters High and married Monroe Tahmahkera. They made their home in Richland Hills. She retired from Texas Health Resources as a microfilmer. Pat loved and embraced the Comanche ways, was an awesome family historian and collector, loved being near the ocean and the Southwest. She also was an avid fan of blues music and loved to cook. Her home was always open to family and friends, had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years; her parents; sister, Coe Vella Clinkscale; and brother, Fred Potts.
Survivors: Children, Steve and wife, Anita Tahmahkera, of San Diego, Karen Tahmahkera Pennington of Watauga and Lance and wife, Debi Tahmahkera, of Burleson; grandchildren, Stephenie and husband, Steven Terrell, Travis Tahmahkera, Lane Tahmahkera and Carmen Tahmahkera and Erin Lima; great-grandchildren, Micah Lane and Olivia Mae Terrell and Caelan and Devon Lima; and numerous beloved relatives.
