Guadalupe Patino, 86, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family Sunday, May 30, 2010.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Guadalupe Patino was born July 16, 1923, in Laredo. Mr. Patino served in the armed forces as an Army corporal during World War II. He was injured while on duty in Germany, leading to his honorable discharge. Settling in Fort Worth, Mr. Patino married Maria Soto and together raised their five daughters.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Vidaurri de Patino, and his wife, Maria Soto.
The family wishes to thank the morning staff of Forest Hill Whataburger for their kind and caring attention, and the attending medical staff at JPS for the special care given to their father.
Survivors: His daughters, Marie Plummer, Carrie O'Baugh, Lydia Dearman, Delia Jackson and husband, Larry, and Rosalinda Mendoza and husband, George; grandchildren; and a multitude of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
