Patricia "Loraine" McCaslin

Patricia “Loraine” Rivers McCaslin, 67, a beloved wife, mother, and Memaw, passed away on August 4, 2024, leaving a legacy of love and laughter.

Loraine was born on June 13, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Bobby and Patsy (Grisham) Rivers.

Loraine grew up in Kennedale, Texas, and graduated from Kennedale High School in 1975. After high school, she married her high school sweetheart, Ardie Lynn McCaslin, and they were happily married for 48 years. She had a long and varied career as a wife and mother. She was employed by Kennedale ISD until 1999, when she left to be the office manager for her and Ardie’s family-owned and operated business, Circle M Services.

Loraine enjoyed cooking and baking, working in her garden, taking vacations to the beach and the mountains, lounging in her pool, having girls' nights out with friends, crafting, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

Loraine was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Rivers and Patsy (Grisham) Eudy.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Ardie Lynn of Mansfield, Texas; her son, Michael McCaslin, and his wife Julie; her granddaughter, Abigail McCaslin; her sister, Kim Waits; brother, Kelly Rivers and his wife Tina; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

May Loraine rest in peace, knowing she was cherished and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation in honor of Loraine McCaslin will be held Monday, August 12, 2024, at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060, from 6pm - 8pm. A Service will take place at Emerald Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 10am to celebrate Loraine’s life and legacy. 

The family will have a dinner following the service at Dover Hall, 208 Municipal Drive, Kennedale, Texas 76060, for anyone who would like to come and visit.
