Paula Jean Allison passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023, at her home in Arlington, TX at the age of 79. She was surrounded by loved ones in her final months after several health issues.
Paula was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and lived in many places while growing up, including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and France. Paula attended business school and was an executive secretary before meeting her husband Steve and becoming a homemaker.
She was happily married to her faithful husband, Paul Steven Allison for 58 years.
Paula was a dedicated wife, mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend. She was loving, kind and caring as she always looked after the needs of others. Paula had a creative spirit and enjoyed photography, scrapbooking, and many types of crafts. Paula was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling to see family in Ohio, Montana, and Mississippi. Paula enjoyed fellowship at her church, All Saints Lutheran in Arlington and was an active member of the Red Hats Society.
Paula’s true passion in life was caring for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other children in her life who affectionately called her “Ammy.” If she had a baby in her arms and was rocking in her favorite chair, then she was the happiest person in the world. Paula will be remembered for her unconditional love, nurturing spirit, and thoughtfulness.
