Paula Yohner

Paula Florence Yohner passed away Wednesday, September 28, at her Home in Alvarado TX.

Paula went to High School in Ft Worth, TX where she graduated from Polly tech Highschool. She went To College at Texas Wesleyan University where she earned her bachelor’s degree with a Major in English and a minor in Teaching. She later went back to earn her master’s in teaching.

She became a teacher for Joshua ISD where she began teaching 3rd grade, then transferred to 1st grade spending a total of 35 years as a teacher. She retired but continued her passion for teaching through her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was married to Timothy Mac Yohner, who preceded her in death in 2002, for 40 years.

She had two Sons Timothy Mac Yohner Jr. and David Ryan Yohner who also preceded her in death in 1994.

She has two Grand Daughters Delissa Johnson, and Kimberly Ann Selman. She has Three Great Grandchildren Gabriel Ramirez, Braydon Selman and Raelynn Johnson.

She was a strong caring woman who loved life and her family. She loved to read, do word finds, writing, but most of all she loved her Friday nights with her Great Grandson Brayden.
