Peter Joseph Giammarco Jr "Joey", was born on December 3, 1984 in Grand Prairie, Texas. His soul was set free to the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on December 14, 2021.
Joey graduated from Lamar High School in 2003. While there he enjoyed being a member of both the Viking Football and baseball teams. After high school, he attended Texas State University. Joey owned a successful appliance business and really enjoyed the hard work and freedom of being self-employed. Excellent customer service and integrity were important to him which helped his business thrive. Joey was an avid sports fan and loved all the local sports teams, especially the Cowboys. In his spare time he could be found on the golf course with his brother and father or on the softball fields with his friends. In addition to watching sports, he was an avid movie enthusiast. Joey will be remembered for his enormous heart, compassionate spirit, and sense of humor. He was fiercely loyal and protective of his friends and family. They always knew that they could rely on him for a sympathetic ear, a pep talk, a helping hand, or whatever was needed. Joey never knew a stranger and could light up a room with his smile. His happiest times were spent with those he loved. Joey lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by those that loved him.
