Priscella Diane Jones

Priscilla Diane Jones, 71, passed away on 3, July, 2024 at Kindred Hospital in Arlington, Texas. She was born on February, 2, 1953 in Fort Worth, TX to Bud and Melba (King) Drennan.

Diane grew up in Arlington, TX. She graduated from Sam Houston in Arlington, TX  in 1971. After high school she began work for Siemens Medical as a secretary where she worked for 40+ years. She retired in 2020 after 40+ years.  All throughout her life she has been dedicated to the church. She worked in the childcare center of St. Stephens Church for several years and then at Harmony Baptist Church. 

Diane married Mike in 1971 in Fort Worth, TX. They were happily married for 53 years.   Diane truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, being involved with the community and her church, singing, dancing, spending time with her grandchildren. Diane had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. 

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Bud King.

Diane is survived by her mother, Melba Drennan of Burleson, TX; spouse Mike Jones of Arlington, TX; her son Eric, (Melissa) Jones of Mansfield, TX; her sister Sherry, (Mack) Sorrells of Sunset, TX; her brother Tad, (Neva) Drennan of St. Joe, TX grandchildren Jacob Haas and Madelyn Jones; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd at 10:30am, 7/10/2024.
