For over 20 years, Rachel dedicated herself to the customer service industry, showcasing her innate kindness and compassion. After retiring on disability, she embraced the joys of life at home, relishing the moments spent surrounded by her cherished family, especially her grandchildren. Known for her beautiful, radiant smile and quick wit, Rachel had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and cared for.
Her home was a sanctuary for gatherings, particularly during the holiday season. Rachel’s love for cooking and baking shone brightly as she prepared delightful meals and treats for her grandchildren. These were times filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aroma of her culinary creations. She also enjoyed sharing her love for crime mysteries, true crime drama shows, and the occasional scary movie, turning these moments into cherished memories that her grandchildren will carry in their hearts forever.
A proud family member, Rachel often spoke about how her life was devoted to her loved ones, once noting that she didn’t need any hobbies aside from those she participated in for her family. Indeed, she was the core of their existence. Her passion for collecting angels symbolized her nurturing spirit, forever watching over her beloved family.
Rachel's kindness extended to celebrating the special occasions of others, always ensuring that loved ones felt honored on their birthdays. Her personality was defined by compassion, humor, and a warm heart, making her presence all the more impactful.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Cruz Molinar Jr. her "Honey"; her beloved children, Cruz Molinar III, Marcus Allen Molinar, and daughters-in-law Imelda and Sasha Molinar; as well as her treasured grandchildren, Rachel Renae Molinar, Cruz Michael Molinar IV, Noelia Lei Molinar, Michael Allen Molinar, and Hayden Shin-Cory Carter. Also, her loyal companion and sidekick, her toy yorkie "baby" Willie.The family finds solace in the memories of Rachel, knowing she will always live on in their hearts.
Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon Villanueva and Maria Concepcion Arellano Villanueva, and her brothers, Tomas, Rene, and Jaime Villanueva. Their legacy continues through Rachel’s devotion to family and the love she shared.
A visitation will be held on October 4, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Kennedale, Texas. A Mass will follow on October 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas, leading to an interment at 11:15 AM. A memorial gathering will conclude the day's tributes, connecting friends and family in shared remembrance from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
