Randall Paul Shank, 67, of Little Elm, Texas passed away at his home on October 21, 2017. He was born November 5, 1949 in Warren, Ohio, a son of the late Lloyd W. and Hazel (Vean) Shank. He married Judith Lee (Montgomery) Moran on January 21st, 1972 and then later in life married Margaret Rose (Roth) Schreier on July 5th, 2001.
Randy grew up in the small town of Leavittsburg near Warren, Ohio. He graduated from Leavittsburg High School and soon joined the United States Marine Corps, at the time of the Vietnam War. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam with honor and distinction. After the war he continued his service to his country, stationed from southern California to Washington D.C., until his retirement from the Marine Corps in the late 80’s. Afterwards his life led him to a career as a computer professional where he flourished until his retirement in early 2017.
Randy is survived by his son Jeff (wife Michelle Shank, children Amber, Ashley, Josh and Christopher), of Fort Worth, Texas, his sister Peggy Timko of Warren, Ohio, his brother Jim of Warren, Ohio, and by loving in-laws, and a host of long-time friends from near and far.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Shank, mother, Hazel Vean, wife Judith, wife Marge, his son Kristan Paul Shank, and his sister Barbara Jane Chesonies.
Graveside ceremony with military honors will be held on November 10th, 2017 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060.
