Richard Edward Harness

Richard Edward Harness passed away on September 23, 2024 at the age of 47, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that touched the hearts of all who knew him.  

Born on May 30, 1977, Richard lived a life full of love and dedication to his family and friends. His personality shone brightly through his generosity and unwavering care for those around him.

Richard will be deeply missed by his cherished wife, Ann (Oanh), and their young son, Benjamin, who were the center of his universe. He held a special place in the hearts of his mother, Suk Harness, mother and father-in law, Van and Kevin Huynh, his sister Sandy and her husband Matt Stoos, along with his sister and brother-in-laws, Mary and Blu Perez, and Kanei and Johnny Huynh.

Richard's legacy is also carried on by his niece, Lilly, and nephew, Landon, to whom he was an incredibly loving uncle.

He was predeceased by his father, John Harness.

The visitation to honor Richard will take place on October 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Kennedale, Texas. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life.
