Richard Rains

Richard Darrell Rains (Clunker) born May 20, 1962, passed away June 4, 2019 at the age of 57 years in Benbrook, Texas. Darrell was preceded in death by parents Bertram and Joyce Rains. He is survived by sisters Katherine Skrnich of Salpulpa, OK, and Linda Rains of Waco, TX; brothers Bertram Rains, his wife Debbie of Port Arthur, TX, and Ronald Rains, his wife Leslie of Durant, OK. He is also survived by 2 nieces, 5 nephews, and numerous friends and other family members.

Darrell was born in San Benito, TX. He attended grade school and junior high In Lyford, TX and graduated from Belton High School in 1980. He also attended Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. At the time of his death Darrell was employed by US Polyco as a Technical Services Manager. Darrell had many hobbies and interests including HAM radio, Stock Trading.  Two of his favorites included traveling the country on his motorcycle and BBQ grilling. Darrell was a kind and generous person and always willing to help other in need.  Darrell will be greatly missed by his family and many, many friends. He will always be in our hearts and we love him dearly. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019, 2:00 pm at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, Kennedale, Texas.
