It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rizaldy Lugto, a cherished son, brother, and inspiration to all who knew him. Rizaldy peacefully departed from this world on June 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family and many friends, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, passion, and a deep love for life.
Rizaldy was born on October 25, 1983, in the Philippines. He was the son of Salvador Lugto, who preceded him in death, and Victoria Capua Klug. As a pre-teen Rizaldy immigrated to the United States; but he would later return to the Philippines to reunite with his Filipino heritage and complete his education.
From a young age, Rizaldy displayed exceptional athleticism and an unyielding determination that guided him throughout his life. A sports enthusiast, Rizaldy dedicated himself to physical fitness and excelled at basketball, and initially soccer. He pushed himself to new heights, embracing challenges and setting the bar high for himself and others.
The loss of Rizaldy will be deeply felt by his extensive network of friends, who will forever remember him for his infectious spirit, his unwavering loyalty, and his remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. His legacy of friendship, compassion, and joyful connections will continue to resonate and inspire us all.
Rizaldy’s career included working in the hospitality industry, sales/marketing, and warehouse operations. He was always optimistic that he was destined for better things and times. And he always strove to bring positive energy to the workplace.
Rizaldy’s passing leaves a void in the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Victoria Klug; stepfather, Brian Klug; brother, Ryan Lugto; and half-brothers, Neil and Neven Klug.
A funeral service to celebrate Rizaldy’s life will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 11:00am at Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Kennedale, Tx.
As we bid farewell to Rizaldy, let us honor his memory by embracing the lessons he taught us and continuing to spread love and compassion on our daily lives. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find solace in the cherished memories we hold dear.
