BURLESON -- Robert Duncan Baldwin, 83, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial to follow in Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel.
Duncan was born May 19, 1926, in Springfield, Tenn. He was a longtime member of Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington. He was a past worshipful master of Deer Creek Lodge 1140 A.F. & A.M., a past worthy patron of Everman Chapter 624 Order of the Eastern Star. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1986 after 36 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Sarah Duncan Baldwin; his wife, Irene Crawford Baldwin; and his brother, Harold Baldwin.
Survivors: He is survived by his children, Peggy Baldwin of Burleson, Joe and Krystina Baldwin of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Christopher and Walker Baldwin; siblings, Eugene Baldwin of Gallatin, Tenn., Josephine Nobach of Springfield, Tenn., and Jerry Baldwin of Spring Hill, Ten.; special companion, Helen Paynter of Burleson; and many family and friends.
