FOREST HILL -- Robert Lee Brown, 79, of Forest Hill went peacefully in the arms of God October 10, 2016.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Bob was a fighter of multiple myeloma cancer for 14 years. He was a blessing to know, sung solos, and whistled gospel songs at church and home. Bob was a hard worker, retiring from UPS after 25 1/2 years, and 31 years of loyal service with the navy reserves. He was a good Christian man, husband, dad, and granddad. We will miss his smiling face and his jokes to our pastor Bro. Jim Tucker. The family are members of First Baptist Church of Everman.
Preceded in death by his parents, Olga and Robert Brown.
Survived by his high school sweetheart, the love of his life, and wife of 58 years, Mary. Children; Bryan Brown, and Lisa Rice and husband, Kenny. Grandchildren; Lory and Kenny Lee Rice.
