Robert Garcia

Robert Gabriel Garcia was born April 10, 1960, and passed away on Friday December 23, 2022, at the age of 62.

Professionally, he was a Window Glazer but personally he was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Robert was an avid musician, music lover and skilled drummer who had played with many well-known Tejano bands during his music career. Robert loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, and spending time with his many friends and family.

Robert was preceded in death by his son Vincent Gabriel Garcia, his father Gabriel Diaz and his stepfather Joe Hinojosa. He is survived by his mother Dora Hinojosa, his sons, Robert Garcia, Adrian Garcia, Raymond Garcia and Rene Garcia, brother Ricky Hinojosa, sister Debra Lopez and stepbrothers Ray Hinojosa, Johnny Hinojosa, Leo Hinojosa, Marcus Hinojosa and stepsisters Cora Nguyen and Rosita Flores. Robert also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins whom he cared about deeply.

There will be a visitation held from 6pm to 8pm on January 3, 2023, at Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd. Kennedale, Texas 76060.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mary of The Assumption Catholic Church, 509 W. Magnolia Ave. Fort Worth, Texas 76104 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on January 4, 2023, with the burial following, at Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Kennedale.
