On August the 18th of 2019 Robert Ray Jackson passed away in Fort Worth Texas at the age of 85 years old. Robert Ray Jackson was born in Bristol Texas in Ellis County on September 1,1933 to his mother Nora Jackson and his father Ira Jackson. Robert leaves behind his daughters Amber Jackson, Doris Jackson and Billie Nettles. He leaves behind his sons Ricky Jackson, Steve Jackson, and David Jackson.
Robert Ray Jackson was a loving husband to Jeri’ Barks Jackson. They were married on May 24th, 1985. Robert Ray Jackson was a loving, caring father, grandfather and great grandfather. Robert Ray Jackson worked hard all his life. He was a paint contractor most of his life, he also worked at the flea market in Forest Hills. Robert Ray Jackson liked his country music and his cowboy boots. He loved to watch his western show and movies. He was the biggest cowboy’s fan; he did not miss watching a football game if he could help it. And I can’t forget when he would watch the show the Alligator Hunters he would just laugh and say those men where crazy. Robert Ray Jackson was a loving man with a kind soul. Robert Ray Jackson was one of the most giving people you would ever meet, He never met a stranger. But most of all Robert Ray Jackson was a man of God he strived to live his life according to the scripture every day. Robert Ray Jackson will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Daddy you and I had an inseparable bond. That not even death can tear apart. You let me know how much you loved me in every way and everything you did. I love you more than life itself. You taught me everything from roofing, to floating sheetrock, painting, how to drive, how to shoot a gun, how to be a loving, caring and giving person. And you never let me forget that God loves me even when life had me down. There’s just one thing I don’t know how to do, and that’s live without you. I’m broking, lost and empty without you and will be till we meet again. I love you daddy. Love your baby girl Amber Jackson / Ambo
