Roberto Maldonado

Roberto Maldonado , 84 of Ranger Tx. passed away on August 14, 2021 in Abilene Tx. He was born on May 31, 1937 in Santa Rosa Tx. to Guadalupe and Luisa Maldonado

Robert grew up in Falfurrias Tx. He was enlisted into the United States Army and served in the Korean war. Dad was a proud veteran, who always flew our great flag.

Robert married Lydia Lopez Maldonado in Winters Tx. They were happily married for 33 years. They were members of Hispania Baptist church in El Paso, many others after the move to Dallas. They helped many family and friends and neighbors. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Lydia, parents Guadalupe and Luisa, sisters Barbarita and Matilda, brother Alberto,Gilberto and Fermin Maldonado.

Those left to cherish Roberts memories are his daughters Dona Maldonado of Ranger Tx. Dina Maldonado of Grand Prairie Tx. Roberta Elizondo of Ranger Tx. Grandchildren Jacqueline Garza, MichaelAngelo Elizondo, Robert Giovanni Elizondo, Elijah Elizondo and Julien Maldonado. Great grandchildren Richard Escamilla, Jazmine Maldonado, MichaelAngelo ElizondoJr. Mia, Scarlet & Vivi Elizondo and Aaliyah Elizondo. Nieces and nephews whom he raised as his own Michael Maldonado, Cynthia Maldonado-Kohout and Alicia Maldonado, Melanie Lowrie , Baba Baker and April Rincones.
