Rodrigo Albarran Garcia

Rodrigo Albarran Garcia, 69, passed away on January 28, 2024, at Medical City Arlington Hospital in Arlington, Texas. He was born on September 8, 1955, in Pacuaro, Guerrero, Mexico, to Irma Albarran and Maurilio Garcia.

Rodrigo was a man of quiet strength and diverse passions. An introvert by nature, he found solace in his own company and fulfillment in his interests. His innate curiosity fueled a deep love of learning, particularly foreign languages, history, and music. For over 30 years, he was a dedicated professional truck driver. Yet, his true passion lay in the simple joys of home: fixing things around the house, watching classic TV shows like Andy Griffith and Perry Mason, and feeding the birds in his backyard.

Rodrigo was a loving husband to Leticia Garcia. He was also a devoted father to Cindy Lopez, Irma Cazarez, Maribel Patterson, Sara Garcia, and Antonio Garcia.

He is survived by his mother, Irma Albarran; his wife, Leticia Garcia; his daughters, Irma Cazarez and Sara Garcia; his son, Antonio Garcia; his step-daughters, Cindy Lopez and Maribel Patterson; his siblings, Javier Soto, Lidia Jaramillo, Maria Luisa Jaramillo, Santiago Jaramillo, Juan Jaramillo, Miguel Jaramillo, and Lolis Jaramillo; and his grandchildren, Ethan Cazarez, Aden Cazarez, Eliza Cazarez, Daniel Lopez, Isabella Lopez, Isis Torres, Tatiana Alonzo, and Aaliya Escobar. He was preceded in death by his sister, Julia Jaramillo; his brother, Wilfrido Jaramillo; and his grandmother, whom he loved dearly, Carlota Nava.

A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060, on February 5, 2024, at 10:30 am. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 1:30 pm. Burial will take place at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.

The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Parra for his excellent care during Rodrigo's difficult medical journey. They also thank the Medical City Arlington Hospital staff for their compassionate support during his final days.
