Ronald David Huff of Arlington died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at his home after battling cancer. He was 68.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial: Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Ronald was an accomplished electrical engineer and supervisor on power plant construction for many companies, including Matsco, Multi Amp, Fluor Daniel Westinghouse and Columbia Electric in Louisiana, Connecticut, Georgia, Alaska, Texas and Kansas.
The son of Elza Eugene Huff and Bertha Mae Coonrod, he was born Aug. 30, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio. He married Barbara Ann Clatterbuck on Oct. 16, 1959, in Washington, D.C.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Laura Belle Huff Miller, in 2003; and one daughter, Kathy Kay Huff, in 1970.
Survivors: His wife; children, James Dean Huff and wife, Tonda, of Topeka, Kan., Beverly Ann Menghi and husband, James, of Augusta, Ga., Suzanne Lynn Mills and husband, Benjamin, of Arlington, Donald Lee Huff and wife, Carla, of Emporia, Kan., and Allan Eugene Huff and wife, Nara, of Arlington; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
