Rose Marie Barron, “Marie” was united with her heavenly Father, while in an Arlington hospital, on September 12, 2015 at the age of 68.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Mansfield Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2pm at Woods Chapel Baptist Church; 2812 Monties Ln, Arlington, TX 76015 (corner of California Ln and S Bowen Rd).
Interment will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
Floral gifts may be sent to the funeral home or those choosing may make donations in Marie’s memory to the American Heart Association. Those attending the funeral service are encouraged to wear something pink and or purple in honor of Marie.
Marie was born on September 1, 1947 in Falls County, TX, to Marvin and Mary Humphus. She grew up in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School. She married Gene Barron in 1973 and they have celebrated over 40 years of marriage. Marie loved to read and enjoyed baking cakes and listening to southern gospel music. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured the time with her family. Marie loved the Lord, was a devout Christian and felt closest to God when visiting the Tennessee mountains. She will be deeply missed and always loved by her family and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Humphus.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gene Barron; mother, Mary Humphus; children, Sonny Francks, Brian Francks, Brian Barron, Gina Keena, and Elisha Pitney; sister, Cindy Kirk; brothers, Robert and Jimmy Humphus; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
