Ruby Joyce Grooms, 71, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at her home in Arlington.
Graveside Service: 3 p.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home Sunday evening.
Joyce enjoyed sewing, cooking and organizing family and holiday functions. She cherished her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Fairly and Margaret Dawkins and son, Henry Gilbert Grooms, Jr.
She is surived by her husband, Henry Gilbert Grooms, Sr; sons, Kenneth Grooms and wife Tammy, Michael Grooms, Christopher Grooms and wife Dawna; sisters, Annie May Sproles, Lucille Barrington; brother, Fairly Dawkins; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
