Russell David Martin, born February 4, 1954 to Eddie and Norma Jean Martin in Dallas Texas passed away suddenly January 13, 2013. He attended and graduated from Irvin High School in El Paso. Russell moved back to the Arlington area in 1973 with his wife Althea. He was a man who enjoyed making other people smile and having a good time with all his friends. His family remembers him as a generous man and as a caring father to his daughter. He spent a large part of his career as a machinist at Chaparral Steel in Midlothian. Russell enjoyed riding motorcycles, horses and being on the water in his boat.
Those who preceded him in death are: mother, Norma Jean Russell and brother, Kent Martin. Survivors include: father, Eddie B. Martin; daughter, Leigh Ann and husband Michael Scott; best friend, Althea Martin; numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and many dear friends.
