ARLINGTON -- Ruth L. Linderman passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at the age of 98.
Memorial service: will be conducted at a later date.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Feb. 19, 1909, to Alice and Robert Rock. The family lived in Cleveland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. When she reached adulthood, she lived in Cleveland, where she met Gilbert Linderman. They married on June 28, 1930. They had three sons, Gilbert, John and Robert. They moved often due to her husband's position with General Motors. After the marriage of all her sons, Ruth and Gilbert moved to California to retire. Gilbert passed away in 1977 and Ruth lived by herself until she moved to Arlington in 1997. She was a loving person whose soul will shine forever. She will be greatly missed by all she touched. She would help anyone she could and was kind to all. She was preceded in death by her husband and granddaughter, Kelly Linderman of Arlington, Va.
Survivors: Her sons, Gilbert (Maggie) of Monterey, Calif., John (Judy) of Arlington, Robert (Sara) of Indian Rock Beach, Fla.; daughters-in-law, Barbara Vine of North Carolina and Judy Linderman of Morgan Hill, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
