FORT WORTH -- Ruthie Lewis, 44, went peacefully home to be with Jesus on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at 2:45 p.m.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Everman, 501 W. Barron, Everman, with the Rev. Jim Tucker officiating. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
She was born July 31, 1965, in Fort Worth to Burl and Pearl Lewis. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Everman. She was employed by First Cash Financial for 15 years. She was very vibrant, devoted daughter. She had a zest for life and a unquenchable compassion for family and friends Her curiosity for life for can not be summed up in words alone. She will be deeply missed as she will continue in her spiritual quest.
Survivors: Her parents, Burl and Pearl Lewis; brother, Lester and Louise Lewis; sisters, Beckie and Bill Moritz and Jeanne and Jim Burks; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
