Madelyn Scott Williams, born May 12, 1935, as Madelyn Nell Scott, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Attended Louisiana State University and married David Hamilton Williams. David and Madelyn moved to Arlington, TX, in 1969 to raise two boys, Mike and Mark on Pleasant Ridge Road. As a longtime resident of South Arlington, she enjoyed outdoors, horticulture, and family pets. An avid baseball fan enjoying season tickets to the Texas Rangers baseball games for almost 20 years. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Mike and Brenda Williams of Allen, TX, and Mark and Megan Williams, of Fort Worth, TX. She also leaves behind five grandchildren (Michael Collen Williams, Jimmy Clayton Williams, Brooks Hamilton Williams, Thomas Tanner Williams and Mykle Elizabeth Williams) and two great grandchildren (Kaysen Williams & Gabrielle Williams). Madelyn made and lost many a friend at the Arlington Dialysis Center on Matlock Ave in South Arlington over the last two and a half years. She was comforted in her last few days by the staff at Arlington Memorial Hospice in North Arlington.
Survived by her sister, Pat E. Scott of Weed, New Mexico. Preceded in death by her parents William Frank Scott and Mable Ellen Scott as well as David Hamilton Williams.
