Sherry Lim

Sherry Ruth Lim, of Arlington, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020.  She was born on April 7, 1960 in Hillsboro, Texas to Harley Glen Cunningham and Nancy Ruth (Windham) Cunningham.  Sherry was a Pre-K Teacher at Short Elementary for nearly thirty years.  She loved children and was passionate about early childhood education.  She loved to read, complete crossword puzzles, cook, bake, and she loved dogs.  Sherry received the Teacher of the Year award for Arlington Independent School District.  She is preceded in death by her father.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Leong Lim; daughter, Amanda Lim Kinny and husband Ryan; mother, Nancy Cunningham; brother, Larry Cunningham and wife Angela; nephews, Casey Cunningham, Christopher Cunningham and wife Erin; and great nephews, Ethan Cunningham and Corvus Cunningham.

Funeral service for Sherry will be Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 10:00AM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale with interment to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive family and friends for visitation Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 6:00-8:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
