Sherry Thorp

Sherry Garner Thorp, 80, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at her home, from pancreatic cancer. She was born on January 16, 1942 in San Angelo, TX.

Sherry graduated from C.C. Miller High School in 1960. She then came to the DFW area and worked at LTV and then General Dynamics. She and her husband Daulton lived in Kennedale, Springtown and Grand Prairie.

Sherry was preceded in death by her son, Derrick Thorp in an automobile accident on November 17, 2007.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Daulton; her daughters, Lori Padilla and husband Andrew and Georgana Davis and husband Scott; brothers, William Garner and Steve Stinson; and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd. Kennedale, TX at 2pm Monday, September 26, 2022. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
