Patsy Darlene Swindle, born June 1945 in Ranger, passed away peacefully September 9, 2013 at the age of 68 in Denton.
Patsy grew up in Ranger and graduated from Ranger High School. She was said by many to be the most beautiful and spirited cheerleader to go through Ranger High. She enjoyed people and always was willing to share a smile and kind word or laugh. Patsy was the definition of Miss Congeniality. Her hobby was people. She was the life of the party and quite boisterous. Patsy enjoyed dancing and singing, sharing her beautiful voice with those she entertained.
Her family remembers her as cheerful, always positive thinking, caregiver with a servant's heart.
Patsy was reunited with those who have gone before her including: her parents, Loyd & Lela Nail; brothers, Loyd Nail Jr., Jimmie Lee Nail and Gilbert Wayne Nail; son, Michael Eller; niece, Anita Goldsmith; and her loving husband, Ed Swindle.
Those left to cherish her memory are: sister, Martha Goldsmith (Elmer); nieces, Debbie Wilson (Glynn), Donna Allen, & Sherry Brandt (Keith); stepdaughter, Donna Eller Thompson; nephews, Jimmy Goldsmith and Curtis Goldsmith, along with many more extended family and many dear friends.
