Ted Lee Bruton, 62, a Christian minister, heard the words "Well done, My good and faithful servant" on September 28, 2017. after a valiant battle with Lou Gahrig's Disease. His unwavering faith in God guided him through this fight and gave him God's peace.
Funeral Service 1 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Interment at Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Ted was born to Dewey and Jo Ann in Fort Worth on April 15, 1955. He attended O.D. Wyatt High School. He worked at Texas Steel and then to the US Post Office where he would have his "church" many times praying for and leading those he served to Christ. Ted's desire was to always be of service and let the Lord use him as needed. Many lives were touched by his obedience to the voice of God. Ted loved his family and worked many long hours to provide for them. He provided a Christian home. You could normally find him watching a Christian video with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter, April; brother, Barry. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Dewey; mother, Jo Ann; brother, Raymond.
