KENNEDALE -- Teofila Gonazalez, 57, slipped the surly bonds of earth and touched the face of God on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Teofila was a warrior for Jesus and was lovingly called a "great servant of God." She was truly blessed by the Lord in many ways, a wonderful family and a gift to be a blessing to all who knew her.
Survivors: Her husband, Eliazar Gonzalez; daughter, Diane Cavazos; son and wife, Eliazar Jr. and Virginia Gonzalez; grandsons, Isaac, Matthew and Joseph Cavazos; granddaughters, Elizabeth, Alyssa and Marissa Gonzalez; brother and sisters, Frank Farias, Alma Rodriguez, Jesse Farias, Maria Trevino and Benny Farias; and a host of other family and friends.
