ARLINGTON -- Arlington ? Terrye Margaret Westover, 59 a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday February 7, 2007 after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer.

Memorials: Callier Center for Communications Disorders 1966 Inwood Rd. Dallas, Texas 75235 214-905-3149, an organization for support of the hearing impaired.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church 5011 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd. Arlington, Tx 76010. Burial; Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

Born in Houston, TX., on December 6, 1947, to the late Marian and M.B. Cole. Terrye retired with 19 years of service as an Accounting Technician with the Greater Southwest Finance Center of the General Services Administration. She attended Greenbriar Academy in West Virginia and Texas Wesleyan University. A longtime member of St. Barnabas United Methodist Church in Arlington, Terrye was of strong faith. She was a co-founder of the Cochlear Kids group in Dallas and with her husband served her church?s Cancer support group. Terrye is well loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Everyone she has ever met was touched by how bright her life light shined.

Survivors: Husband, Bud Westover; Children, Andy Westover and wife Sarah, Amy (Westover) Rhoads and husband Rick; Grandchildren, Catherine Westover, Austin and Paige Rhoads; Sister Judy Cole Curtis and husband Jim and numerous loving family members. She was preceded in death by her mother Marian, father M.B. Cole and Mother-in-Law Pearl Westover.
