Theresa Sims

Theresa “Terri” Sims, 60 , passed away on the 21st of January 2025 at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, Tx. She was born on December 1, 1964, in Hertford, Tx to Manuela Saiz Garcia.

Terri grew up and graduated in Spur, Tx at Spur High School. After high school she traveled around Texas and made the most of her young life.

Terri married James Sims in 2021, in Arlington, Tx. They were happily married for 4 years. Theresa was a member of the non-denominational Christian faith. She enjoyed her days relaxing the most, she loved having any type of family time, and the love she had for her family was unmatched.

Terri was preceded in death by her mother Manuela Garcia,Stepfather Augustine Garcia, brothers Angel Gonzales and Augustine Garcia Jr, and sister Dominica Garcia. 

Terri is survived by her spouse James Sims of Arlington, Tx; her daughters Martina Gibson of Troy, Tx, Sasha and Cody Stanley of Cleburne, Tx, Keralene and Quincy Mims Haslet, Tx, and Jessica McClelland of White Oak, Tx; her sisters MaryAnn Padilla of Carrizozo, New Mexico, Sonya and Blake Brown of Post, Tx, Katrina Perez of Post, Tx, Saprina and Dewayne Robinson of Norton, Virginia, and Anya Garcia of Cleburne, Tx and Alexis Siaz of Post, Tx; her grandchildren Kris, Korey, Kayton, Jimmy, Addy, Chloe, and Noah; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives.
